Guest Access

Guests have full access to the home, including the front patio, back deck, propane grill, outdoor fire pit, front lawn, backyard, EV charger, and private off street parking.

The laundry room is occasionally used by our housekeeper for this house as well as the neighboring Little House, though usage is rare since most turnovers occur on different days. If the housekeeper needs access, she will use the exterior entrance from the outside to the laundry room. The door from the laundry room to the kitchen will be locked if the laundry room is in use by the housekeeper. Otherwise, the laundry room door will be open and unlocked for your use.

Other Things to Note

• An exterior camera monitors the front porch only. No interior cameras.
  
• The cottage is in close proximity to The Little House.
• The house is old...like Civil War old. You may occasionally see a ladybug or cricket. We have pest control that services the house on a monthly basis.
• Landscaping improvements are ongoing.
• The indoor fireplace is not operational.
• The driveway is approximately 75 feet from the front door.
• Smoking indoors is not permitted. A $500 fee will apply if this policy is violated.
• Outdoor smoking must be cleaned up. A $250 fee will apply for cigarette litter.
• Guests may be responsible for damages exceeding normal wear over $50.
• We are dog-friendly. Thank you for picking up after your dog. Sorry, not cats.

Cancellation Policy

100% refund if you cancel within 48 hours of your booking and check-in is at least 14 days away.

50% refund if cancelled at least 14 days before check-in.

Cancellations made less than 14 days before check-in are non-refundable.
