How can I make a difference?

One of the biggest, and most powerful questions one can ask. We do, everyday.


As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace. 1 Peter 4:10

One of the ways we strive to help is in addition to tithes dedicated to the Lord, we commit a portion of our profits to various organizations and groups who work to make a difference in the world.

Consider this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.  2 Corinthians 9:6

We proudly join hands with the following organizations and groups as they encourage, educate, equip, and minister to those in need and care for God's creation through outreach and good stewardship practices.

Let them thank the LORD… For He satisfied the thirsty, filled the hungry with good things. Psalm 107:8a, 9

Philabundance works to end hunger and malnutrition in the Delaware Valley by rescuing surplus food and distributing it to local organizations serving people in need. Delivering over 22 million pounds of food to its agencies last year, and developing programs that help address the nutritional needs of specific vunerable populations such as seniors and children, we are proud to serve side by side with them.


He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free. Psalm 146: 7

Working with communities around the world help end hunger and poverty, and helping care for the earth through initiatives such as agroecology, microenterprise, urban agriculture, and young people's programs.

Christian Children's Fund is a nonprofit child development organization dedicated to providing long-term, sustainable assistance to impoverished children worldwide. By creating an environment of hope and respect for children in need in which they have opportunities to achieve their full potential, and provides children, families and communities with practical tools for positive change.

The afflicted and the needy seek water in vain, their tongues are parched with thirst. I, the LORD, will answer them…Isaiah 41:17a

Providing food, housing, health care, education, water projects, micro-enterprise development assistance and emergency relief to the poorest of the poor. Their initiatives such as Recycling for the Poor- where you recycle your old printer cartridges and the funds generated are dispersed to help feed, clothe, and minister to the poor.

Commit your way to the LORD;trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun. Psalm 35:5-6

Solar Cookers International is helping many refugee women and children in the Sudan. Facing terrible atrocities, simply gathering wood for fires and cooking leaves these women and children open to attacks and death by those who persecute them. Supplying them with the means to cook their rations, pasteurize their unsafe drinking water, and keep them from the perils of gathering wood are just some of the ways Solar Cookers International helps make a difference.
