Our Shade Tree Cottage Facial Masks are organic and all natural- made with the finest organic botanicals, herbs, powders and clays. We grind the herbs, peels, and other botanicals for the masks the same day they ship. They do not contain any preservatives to retard bacterial or fungal growth, therefore, after you have added water or other liquids to the powdered Shade Tree Cottage Facial Mask, you cannot keep the leftover portion of the mask. Even if you place the leftover mask in the refrigerator- bacteria and molds may contaminate the unused portions of the wet mixture.
Make a fresh mixture for each facial you use. Do not re-use wet mixture from previous facial masks.
The remaining Shade Tree Cottage Facial Mask can be stored safely for up to one year in a cool, dry place.
